Tour operators of Nepal and other countries are tying-up with Hotel and restaurant chains, airlines services, luxury car rentals to accommodate the adventurers. Luxury facilities and services are attracting more and more travellers around the globe. The climbers needed to be at their highest level of fitness for a summit to the Mt. Everest at any season. Climbers had to stay in wooden cottages and tents, hire Sherpas to guide them and carry their luggage and equipment. Now anyone even having the worst level of fitness can join a summit of Mt. Everest. Tour operators all over the world are providing different packages. 7, 10, 12 and 14 days trips are the most in demand. Expensive cars to 5-star hotel accommodation and multi-cuisine restaurants are included in these packages. In the beginning, it is made sure that travellers should not face any form of sickness. In the Himalayas, altitude sickness is very common. After adjustments, the journey begins in helicopters. Days of the journey are now completed in minutes and hours. The voyagers generally land in Lukla. A small trek of 4 kilometres to Phakding starts here. Next day, the tourists arrive at Namche-bazar and enjoy another helicopter ride for a closer look at the Mt. Everest and the southern base camp. Next, they are taken to Khongde for another 5-kilometer trek to Phakding and then another helicopter ride back to Kathmandu concludes the Mt. Everest’s luxury trek. These trips are only conducted from February to September. The Himalaya becomes even more treacherous in the winter.
